Located within walking distance of The Night Market Cafe & Coworking, about 10 minutes by scooter from Seminyak, 9/11 has ample parking and a good deal of indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is situated in such as way as to block out the sunlight during the morning and day, making it easier to work outdoors even when the sun is beating down. During the evening sun and rainfall, staff can open retractable awnings to help protect you from the elements.
Plug-in outside and work alongside a natural wood wall with long horizontal windows looking in. Several of the tables outside are two-seaters with outlets beneath and there are some in-ground outlets. Get there early if you want to snag these as they can become tied up throughout the day.
There’s also additional outdoor seating on the second floor near Seven Barber.
Depending on the time of day, noise levels range from quiet to very loud. You’re unlikely to find as many Bule’s here as you are at cafes in Seminyak, but they do appear from time to time. Seating outside is more quiet and conducive to work, and tables have the convenience of a call button to access a server anytime. Unfortunately, all of the outdoor seating is wooden and not suitable for working for long periods of time. There are some cushioned seats inside, but they’re either at an odd height relative to their tables or don’t have reasonable access to power.
Based on more than a dozen visits here WiFi can be somewhat flaky, so be sure you have a back-up plan in case you need stable internet. In the spring of 2017 a new sign-in form was put in place to harvest personal and social data. It’s possible to bypass the collection process but the email Web forms were not built with care and sometimes require staff involvement to complete the logon process.
